This topic is directly in my interest , thanx shaggy, like I mentioned in the other womf , I dont want to call it a curse but actually a gift , I can feel them , I cant see them and I can feel if something bad will happen to me and so on a few hours before it happen, I have examples of that but Now I am too lazy to type them all ,some of those feeling s might have saved my life ! Anyway I call it a gift but I am still scared when it happen , I can walk into a house and know when there are entities in that house or place. I once had to sleep in a hotel and when I got my room and went in there I asked for another room , it was better then . Like I mentioned , the Katatura hospital is a no go , all the other hospitals is fine. Something else , I dont know if I am every time just lucky , but I know when someone is sick and , when he go to the hospital , I normaly know that he will not get out there again,I dont know how I know that , but I am never wrong.

This is ironic. Just yesterday my friend and I had a chat about this. As I was totally freaked out cause I think there is dead people trying to talk to me!!!!! This only started when I met my birth mother at the age of 17. I started feeling funny sometimes when I go to sleep. I get this ringing sound in my ears and feels like some one is pinning me to the bed I am not awake but I am not a sleep either. I can't move or shout. This happened alot. Then I met my grandmother and it got worse. I was totally freaked out. So one day I got the guts together to ask my grannie what the hell is wrong with me as I thought I was loosing it. She told me all the women in our family has this they call it a third eye. She said its spirits trying to talk to me!!! What the??????? If there is someone out there which can shed some light on this subject for me I will be very greatfull. As I am still not sure what this means. I just know this happens to me sometimes.

I have no doubt that we ghosts really exist. I know it scares most people, but if you think about it, its not really that bad. It's just people who died and most of the time they don't realize it. They just carry on with their life as if nothing happened. I lived in Jo'burg a few years back and shared my house with a ghost. Before going to bed I made a point of going into the kitchen to make sure all the cupboard doors and drawers are closed. I found them open again the next morning most of the time. I realised later that it was a woman who lived in the same house many years back. She died suddenly but did not know it so she just carried on as always. She spend a lot of time in the kitchen, cooking and cleaning. I even took a photo of her once, accidentally. One evening my girlfriend and I lid candles inside the house. It looked great and we took photo's. When I downloaded it later on my computer, there was a woman posing for one of the pictures. But when I took the photo, she wasn't there...

I was told there was a discussion re the Liebig house and ghost in general this morning and the DJs laughing off the whole idea of ghosts's existence. It amazes me how anyone can just say they don't exist if you don't have any experience or proof of your non-belief. Isn't it just your fear of the unknown that you so firmly believe they don't exist? Anyway, everyone is entitled to their opinion.
All I can say is that seen far too much with my own eyes to not believe anymore. Having said that, I don't think ghosts hang around one place 24/7, so sometimes you'll see them, other times not.

Shaggy, I heard the discussion, they most certainly did not laugh off the idea. They were actually discussing more aspects of it. One caller explained that his mother could here footsteps outside their house in the street on Thursday and Sunday nights and she told him to come back into the house. He could not see the entity but his mother could see the bottom half of it walking up and down the road and then it dissapeared...

Levi501, I had a friend who had the same experienced. I told her that any negative actions from an entity could mean its a demon and the only way to rid yourself of that is if you pray against it or let a Pastor remove it. I had black which craft that was spelled onto my family name centuries ago, removed in that way.

I should've said that I didn't listen myself, so thanks for correcting this Cheerie! Ok, I'll put my thoughts on my sleeve: just a couple of days after a family member died, I woke up in the middle of the night, thinking there's a helicopter above our house (the whirring sound was very loud). I had a sense of fear, looked around and everything was normal. So once I lay down again, this family member (whom I was very close to) was standing next to me, talking to me and I could hear every word of it. I answered her and #### she was gone and so was the noise. The question that she asked me was answered a month after that by events in my life. I have no doubt whatsoever that she was there due to the events that happened afterwards.

sometimes as lost soles...with my travel worldwide I have seen and converse with a few..it is tiresome communicating with hem as they drain you being.

I have this "thing" to feel and sometimes hear them.quite scary as some do not know that they are actually dead But it is part of my being,just accepted it.Sometimes they need help and sometimes they will offer help..At Windhoek station a guy got shot by the police many years ago. Everytime when I pass through there, i still see him,right in front of the old steam engine.This is the honest truth...

hey levi501 that happens to me too im only 17 but it started about 2 years ago but comes to think of it it hasnt happened in the past few months. it is the strangest of feelings tho...for me i can hear my heart beating really loud in my ears n my whole body goes tingly; n i cant move; however im aware of whats happening yet im asleep; i know this because i can wake myself up from it if it gets to bad...it can be a rather scary thing. i dont like waking myself up cos im comfortable. i remember the first time it happened tho i thought i was been abducted by aliens or something lol n i hated it but i can deal with it now. i also find that it if happens once that night it will happen again an again that same night. my mum also says that she gets it
