Dare to go Bare

Progress of the SPCA’s Dare to go Bare calendar ! - Just to give you all some insight of what the calendar is about and we will keep you informed of the progress of this calender

We are very glad to announce that we are busy with the photo shots for the Dare to Go Bare calendar - we do not need anymore volunteers to pose please!
The amazing thing is that we had so many calls of people wanting to pose - which is so sweet and really nice.

The whole idea behind this calendar is that WE as an Executive Committee from the SPCA are standing together and we want to reach out to the public that we really are desparate to be heard and seen that SPCA’s exists and that cruelty to animals should stop and that shelter animals are the coolest. We would like this plea to reach not only Windhoek but landwide / worldwide !! We are nearly finished with the photo shots for the calendar which Tony Figueira - one of Namibia’s most professional photographers is voluntarily doing for us. The first pictures were done last Tuesday and we had all our own pets along (all adopted animals from the SPCA), who of course posed with us for the calendar. We must tell you that the pictures are very tasteful done and at some you will even have tears in the eyes. The amazing part is was that all the animals we had along were all in harmony. Allthough none of them have known each other - not one of them have fought - none of them have growled - there were 6 dogs and one cat and all were walking around together at Tony’s Studio 77 - just being there for this mission - being on the calendar together with us - getting the word out - save our animals in the world!! The whole atmosphere was very relaxed and amazing.

Now to getting the sponsorships - we thought that every calendar month will have his own sponsor. If you are interested or having another thought or idea - please contact Ilga Glueck - our Chairperson - 081-124 7212- if you or your company wants to contribute to this amazing good cause - which will reach probably wordwide attention.

Will keep you posted of the progress
Warm regards
