A while ago I posted a WOMF to find out whether anyone could share their experiences if they had any with three shortlisted lodges we had chosen for our honeymoon. In the end, we chose Erindi, and whilst we have never been to the others, I couldnt regret choosing Erindi for one moment. Their prices are more than fair once you realize what you get for it (I almost feel they are cheating themselves), the guides are so experienced and the game drives brought us face to face with so many animals, my favourites being the elephants and lions. The food was out of this world, and the staff unbelievably friendly.Nothing was too much trouble, and everything so professional and well organized. There is truly nothing anyone can complain about or ask for more when visiting this beautiful lodge. And because of all this, our honeymoon will remain a wonderful memory for always, and i cant wait for my husband to take me back on our anniversary.
Respond Share This Posted 7 Jan 2010 (350 Views)I think you are so lucky to visit Erindi we visited Namibia November 2009 we only got information about Erindi when we got there so we will make sure that we will visit Erindi as soon as we can. I am a big Cat lover and read Dave Salmoni's diary blog long before the program INTO THE PRIDE on Animal Planet started. Do you watch it?

We were very fortunate and got to meet Cleo and the cubbies. We had previously heard about INTO THE PRIDE, but never really watched it until after our visit to Erindi. Dave Salmoni did an awesome job, as every time we found the lions, our guide could take us to within meters of where they were resting. Erindi was truly a highlight of our lives, and i would recommend everyone visits it at least once

Many people asked why we didnt do something else or go to another country for a honeymoon, but we strongly feel that we havent explored our own country and all it has to offer, and would rather spend our money here than elsewhere.
