It saddens me to read the newspaper about Ryno van Zyl who shot his dad a few years back.
The reporters has a way of exploiting everything just for some sensation. Sure, there was abuse and violence, but is it necessary to badmouth a dead man who cannot defend himself?
I am not saying this is acceptable, I firmly stand against women and child abuse (having my fair share), but I just wish some reporters could get back their lost humanity and think about how these reports make the people who knows the family and who knew Louis feel, not even mentioning how Ryno and his mom must feel.
Here a very young boy must get up infront of strangers and open the whole can of worms of all the secrets he has been keeping from society just to rectify his actions. I cannot think for one moment it is an easy thing to do.
Ryno, to you and your family, I support you 100%! I hope all the best for you and for the results of your trail. Good luck and God bless.

Hooooooray for Ryno!!! Congradulations - I believe our justice system finally did something right for a change!!!!
Ryno, I wish you all the best for the future and believe you can finally put the whole thing behind you. Good on you for being strong and standing firm during the last 2 years.

I would like to say to Ryno and his mother that I sincerly hope that with this decision made by the court they would be able to put this whole mess behind them.
Ryno is a great guy and inspite of all the hell he went through he is still a gentelman and treats ladys with respect.
Do you want to hear the truth, you had the balls to do what most people comming from such an abusive house ,only dreams off. Yes it is shocking, but true.
To Mrs. Van Zyl, I sincerly hope you do not blame yourself for what has happened. Everything happens for a reason and God would not have put you to this if he knew you would not get through it.
Good luck to you Ryno and Mrs. Van Zyl. I wish you nothing but happiesess and peace for the future.
