this may turn out to be a controversial topic but i am genuinely interested in everyones opinion on this issue.first of all i will begin by asking if adult entertainment is legal which i doubt but am not sure ,which then begs the question why if one is an adult doesnt one have the right to choose what one watches in the confines of hisher own homesecondly the question of strip clubs, are they illegalrhetorical question if so then why ,its a possible source of employment creation, and if governed under strict laws then it could prove quite profitable seeing as many paople venture to south africa to enjoy these services ,which means loss of possible revenue.please note i am not advocating the corrosion of our moral fibre i am merely interested in what the peoples views on this subject are,if i have coused anyone discomfort i sencierly apologise as this is not my intention,i would only like to encourage social disourse in issues that affect our beutifull society.

Do they have no originality whatsoever I would think they have made enough money out of us to at least afford a good marketing team... They have the easiest job ever, they just copy whatever the new telecommunications provider does. They most probably think its a good strategy but I think its pathetic

I eat out often, and over the past 6 months cannot but notice how prices i restaurants have escalated astronomically. Whilst I do not object to paying premium prices for excellent food, I do object to paing N70,00 for a Piizza that takes less than 5 mins t prepare an cook. The same can be said for so called top restaurants. This past we saw me at the cattle baron. A 300 gram steak at over N90,00. To make matters worse, I asked for it medium done. Guess what It came mediumwell done. When ordering my steak, I also requested a tomato salad to accompany the steak. The salad arrived and was nothing less than a bowl of shredded lettuce with pehaps 2 cherry tomatoes sliced in for pices. What a joke Naturally, I sent it back to the kitchen requesting more tomato.Overall, the service was very slow, and I had to call the waiter to come and serve me. The food was not great and the presentation was poor.Generally speaking, I am not really that fussy, but when I am paying premium dollar for a meal I really expect above average food and service, which the cattle baron does not achieve. Rating on a scale of 1 10 1Bad 10Superb1. Food 32. Service 33. Value 22. Atmosphere 75. Experience 4Summary When friends ask me where can we go and eat Cattle Baron would definately be way down on my list. There are better places to dine at far more reasonable prices. Waht this space for next weeks restaurant.

Dresselhaus and co accused plea not guiltyNampa reports Windhoek businessman Heinz Dresselhaus, former General Manger at Telecom James Camm, and Dresselhauss business partner Etienne Weakely, on Tuesday appeared in the Windhoek High Court on an alleged copper sales scam. The three accused persons each entered a plea of not guilty to about 30 charges of fraud, theft and corruption. It is reported that Weakley had initially been charged with another former Telecom Namibia Manager, Ivan Ganes. The prosecution is charging Dresselhaus Scrap Close Corporation which allegedly billed Telecom Namibia labour costs, while it was not entitled to charge for those expenses. It is further alleged that Dresselhaus and Weakley paid Ganes or Camm more than 300 thousand Namibian dollars on five occasions between 1998 and 2000, in essence to bribe them to support Dresselhaus Scrap in its business dealings with Telecom Namibia. Trial proceedings continue on Wednesday, today.NBC staffs take serious actionEmployees of the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation staged a peaceful demonstration at the companys premises on Tuesday and promised to return on Wednesday until management concede to their demand for salary hikes. Staff members are demanding an immediate payment of the six percent increase of 2007 and payment of the outstanding back pay. Although NBC staff had been on strike before, the current industrial action is more serious as all staff members downed tools, leaving nonstop music on radio programmes and China Central Television throughout on its television channel. Deputy General Secretary of the Namibian Public Workers Union Gabes Andumba says the NBC claims not to have resources to pay out the six percent, yet they spend unnecessary amounts on executive trips to irrelevant destinations.Forty Mozambican boys rescued from truckNewsflash reportsPolice in Mozambique have detained the two drivers of a truck found loaded with 40 children in a suspected trafficking incident. State media reports that the children, all boys aged between five and 13, were found tired and hungry in the back of the truck. They had travelled about 600kilometres from the north of the country and were believed to be headed to Maputo in the south. Police believe the trucks final destination was South Africa. At least 100 passengers are feared dead after a boat sank on Lake Tanganyika, off the Democratic Republic of Congo. The vessel was travelling from the town of Kalemie, in the southeast, to Moba at the time. The BBC reports a Congolese maritime official as saying there have been no survivors. Ten bodies have been recovered. Bad weather causes many accidents on the lake at this time of year, but rarely is such a big boat affected.Mc Cain takes FloridaUnited States presidential hopeful John McCain scored a hardfought win in Floridas presidential primary.
This is a very long story, so Id recommend getting yourself a cup of coffee. In 2005 I bought a Renault Megane 2lt which comes with a 3 year motor plan.Since getting the car, Ive had nothing but problems, not with the car itself, but with the after sales service.About a year ago, the car refused to start on the first try, so I took the car to Hyundai to have it checked out. They told me they could not find an issue. Of course, being a motor journalist, I know nothing about cars and accepted their reasoning.A few months later, the brakes started screeching, so I had them replace the brake pads, they worked for a little while before screeching again. After some investigation, it became apparent that Hyundai uses the wrong brake compound for our extreme heat conditions. Dont even try arguing that fact with them, because they are ever knowing and always know whats best for their consumers, yeah right.Anyway, back to my story, a few months down the line, I struggled for 10 minutes to get the Megane to start and I decided I will not accept it. Made a booking for the car and took it in. Surprise surprise, they couldnt find any fault on the car. After hours of arguing, I had to give up, because if theres anything worse than an arrogant customer, its an arrogant manager.I drove the car like this for a few monthsstruggling until the brakes started screeching again and the digital petrol gauge stopped working properly.Made a booking and took the car inThis was 2 weeks agoBecause the motor plan expires in a few weeks, I asked them to do a thorough check through of the car and fix any problems they might find. Time to pick up the car and this is where the fun started. They charged me for the check throughfair enough and could only report a broken engine mounting, which they wanted to quote me on. Now, it is my understanding, that a car under warranty, should be fixed under warranty After a few hours of arguing again, they put an approval request in
